Hi --
   We have a number of EADs here;  we want to digitize (scan and transcribe or
OCR) the text files they describe, have the EADs point to the digitized
files  -- but we want to be able to search the EADs and their digitized
text (transcription or ocr text) from a single interface.

   Most of the software we are familiar with provides searching and display of
the EADs OR the text files, but not both within the same collection
(because of the differing formats).  Is anyone out there doing this, and if
so, how are you handling it?
