The second annual Code4Lib Conference is being held Feb. 28 - March 2, 2007
in Athens, Georgia. Registration is now open and the conference schedule is
now available. A one-day preconference on Lucene and Solr is also being held
on Feb. 27. Everything can be found at the conference web site:
http://code4lib.org/2007/
There are many opportunities for interaction and participation with
tech-savvy librarians. You can sign up to give a five-minute "lightning
talk" at the conference, or participation in a breakout session, or
socialize with attendees during evening social events.
Code4Lib 2007 is:
* building on the great success of code4lib 2006!
* a loosely structured camp/conference for library technologists to
commune, gather/create/share ideas and software, be inspired, and forge
collaborations
* an outgrowth of the Access HackFest, wrapped into a conference-ish format
by the folks in #code4lib
* open to all interested people/organizations for both planning and
participation
