Hello colleagues. This is a reminder that Monday, August 20 will be our next NDSA Standards Working Group WebEx. The meeting will be from 1:00-2:00 EDT.
Below is a rough agenda. The WebEx connection information is below my signature in this email.
As always, we'll need someone to take notes. Who would like to volunteer as notetaker? A hearty thank-you in advance to whoever steps forward to take on this duty!
Here is the agenda:
* New member introductions
* Conference reports/Interesting stuff to report
* Wikipedia work update
* First impressions of the staffing survey results
* Planning for the iPRES poster (assigning subgroups/work breakdown/timeline)
* Proposals for new work for the working group
* Adjourn
Note the first couple bullets. If you haven't joined us for a meeting before please plan to take a minute or two to introduce yourself to us and give us an idea of why you joined our group and what you hope to get out of your membership. We love hearing from new members!
Also, think about interesting things you'd like to share with the group. Have you attended any interesting conferences/workshops/training that you'd like to share with us? Are you working on some project or initiative that you'd like to talk about? Have you encountered some challenges that you'd like to get the group's thoughts about?
And, of course, if you have any ideas for work you'd like to propose for the group, please bring those too. They don't have to be fully-formed proposals - you can just throw things out to us to consider even if they're still forming in your mind.
I look forward to speaking with you all on Monday!
Best,
Jimi
