Hello colleagues! This Wednesday will be the last NDSA Standards working group WebEx with me as your co-chair. I'm looking forward to the meeting. Below my signature in this email is the connection information for the WebEx. It will be this Wednesday, October 24 from 3-4 EDT.

As usual I'd like to get one of you to be our note taker for this meeting. If no one steps forward on this listserv before the meeting I'll ask for a volunteer at the beginning of the WebEx. Following is a quick-and-dirty agenda that Andrea and I cooked up today:


*         New members' introductions

*         Reminder about Jimi leaving the group and his replacement (Kate Zwaard at LOC - unfortunately Kate won't be able to make the meeting)

*         status of the Wikipedia "Digital Preservation" article work and a call for participation

*         the iPRES poster and discussion of highlights from the conference (all iPRES attendees are encouraged to join this discussion)

*         where do we go with the staffing survey?

*         call for (and discussion of) new projects/work for the working group - all are encouraged to come with ideas for where to take the group
