Insurance Requirements:
Indicate on the Quote Form whether you have liability insurance or will purchase Smithsonian insurance (~$100/year). If you have your own, include documentation (e.g., certificate of insurance).
SAM Registration:
You must have a SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI) to submit a quote. If awarded the contract, you must be fully registered in SAM before beginning work. See attachments (11–14) for SAM registration guidance.
Contract Type & Evaluation Criteria:
This is a Firm-Fixed Price contract, with potential for multiple awards. Quotes will be evaluated based on Best Value, using three equally weighted criteria:

Quote Pricing:
Include lump sum and hourly rate for each 12-month period of performance (2,000 hours/year):
Base Period: Sept. 15, 2025 – Sept. 14, 2026
Option Year 1: Sept. 15, 2026 – Sept. 14, 2027
Option Year 2: Sept. 15, 2027 – Sept. 14, 2028
If selected, you will be contracted for the Base Period and paid pro-rata until 2,000 hours are completed or the period ends. Extensions for Option Years 1 and 2 may be exercised if funding and mutual agreement remain in place—extensions are not guaranteed.
