The Digital Preservation Outreach & Education Network (DPOE-N) is excited to announce an
opportunity for funding available to cultural heritage professionals and institutions located in the
United States and U.S. territories for digital preservation training and education.
° About DPOE-N Funding
DPOE-N offers professional development support for cultural heritage professionals to attend online
workshops and face-to-face training (when traveling is appropriate) focused on digital preservation
and access. Funding can be used within a network of available professional development providers
and can cover more than one workshop.
DPOE-N staff are also available to work with you to develop a professional development program

° Interested in applying?
Deadlines for our funding opportunities are rolling. Applicants who apply in or after September 2025
will be notified of decisions in December 2025, and awards will be disbursed in January 2026. DPOE-

°About DPOE-N
DPOE-N is a network of training resources available to cultural heritage professionals nationwide to enhance their digital preservation knowledge and skills. We are motivated by the pressing need forlibraries, archives, and museums to collect, preserve, and provide access to born-digital materials. DPOE-N is hosted by the Pratt Institute School of Information in collaboration with the Moving Image Archiving and Preservation Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and is generously funded by The Mellon Foundation.

° Convocatoria de participación
La iniciativa Digital Preservation Outreach and Education Network (DPOE-N) se complace en
anunciar la convocatoria de participación para diversas actividades relacionadas con el tema de
preservación digital.
° Talleres
DPOE-N ofrece una serie de talleres sobre temas fundamentales de preservación digital. El programa
de talleres está abierto a toda la comunidad y los eventos tendrán una modalidad de estudio presencial.
La inscripción no tiene costo, sin embargo, los gastos de viaje son responsabilidad de los
participantes. Como parte de sus iniciativas, la DPOE-N acepta solicitudes para becas que podrán
cubrir los gastos individuales de participación (viaje, viáticos, etc.).
° Becas de apoyo
La convocatoria de participación para becas de desarrollo y formación profesional está abierta. Los
solicitantes que presenten su aplicación en Septiembre 2025 o después serán notificados del dictamen
de selección en Diciembre de 2025, para recibir la beca de apoyo en Enero de 2026. Las aplicaciones
se evaluarán y los fondos se otorgarán conforme a la fecha de recepción de las solicitudes, las cuales
pueden ser sometidas para una variedad de actividades (presenciales o en línea), tales como: cursos,
talleres, programas de certificación y educación continua, y para cubrir inscripciones y viáticos
relacionados con conferencias y eventos profesionales.
° Elegibilidad
Las becas de DPOE-N se otorgan a candidatos con nacionalidad estadounidense o con residencia
permanente en Estados Unidos.
