The Fall DLF Forum will take place Monday, November 4 through Wednesday, November 6 at the Hilton Hotel, Seattle Washington.

                                Proposals for papers and panel discussions

Staff at DLF member institutions are invited to submit proposals for papers and panel discussions by dealing with any aspect of digital library development.   Of particular interest will be papers dealing with any of the following:
n       Integration of digital libraries in learning management systems
n       Progress in implementations of the OAI protocol
n       Portal developments
n       Metadata developments, including:
n       Automated generation of metadata
n       Rights management metadata
n       MODS
n       Experience with EAD or DC

Proposals for presentations should be brief (c.250 words) and supply a title and short abstract.

Proposals for panel discussions may be slightly longer. They should supply a title for the panel discussion, briefly outline its purpose, and supply the panelists' names alongside titles an d short descriptions for their respective contributions.

Proposals should be submitted by email to [log in to unmask]  Please include the phrase "forum proposal" as the subject heading in your email.

Proposals must be received by August 30, 2002 in order to ensure consideration.
