Dear all: in my travels around the membership it was clear that many of
us have high-end digital cameras (Phase Ones, Leicas, Betterlights, etc)
with one or more staff members dedicated to their use in various
production, Special Collections, and preservation settings. This type
of production has specific skills and issues, but there was a general
feeling that there was no good place for the production specialists to
get together. The DLF Forum (May 14-16, New York City) provides us with
a venue for a camera-operator think-tank meeting. If you are interested
in attending, can you please let me know. If you know of someone in your
organization who would be a good candidate but who may well not be on
DLF-ANNOUNCE, could you please forward this message to them.

Thanks,

David Seaman
