Managing Electronic Collections

Featuring:  best practices, case studies, and sessions to answer your 
how-to questions about managing today’s increasingly complex 
collections­including guidance on communicating with your vendors to ensure

Topics include usage statistics, repository architecture, ERM solutions, 
copyright and licenses, journal versions, and web services.
Day 1: Understanding users and usage
Day 2: Practical collection and repository management
Day 3: Gluing systems together to make your collections accessible

Day 2 includes a half-day tutorial on the forthcoming Standardized Usage 
Statistics Harvesting Initiative (SUSHI) standard, which can automate the 
retrieval of COUNTER statistics into an ERM system.
