At the Spring DLF Forum, several people expressed interest in being
able to sign up for individual courses within the GSLIS Digital
Library program at UIUC. We actually do still have some space
available in the following courses within the DL program for the Fall
2007 semester:

LIS590DIL Digital Libraries in Research and Practice
(Instructors: Stephen Downie, Jerome McDonough)
LIS590EPL Electronic Publishing and Information Processing
Standards (Instructor: Julia Flanders)
LIS590IML Information Modeling (Instructor: Allen Renear)

All of these courses are being taught through the LEEP distance
education program. Times for the individual courses
along with links to more detailed course descriptions can be found at
http://www.lis.uiuc.edu/oc/courses/schedules/timetable.html?
semester=FA&year=2007.

If you're interested in taking any of these courses, you should fill
out the Request to Enroll in GSLIS courses form which
you can find at https://webtools.uiuc.edu/formBuilder/Secure?id=7795632

The cost for non-degree students is $1,792 for four credits, and all
of these are four credit courses. Feel free
to e-mail me if you have any questions.
