>Required Qualifications:
>- MLS from an ALA accredited graduate program
>- Minimum of one year’s experience working with 
>metadata in a digital library environment
>- Experience with one or more of these 
>standards: Dublin Core, EAD, MODS, or VRA.
>- Experience with XML and XML technologies.
>- Knowledge of AACR, MARC and national cataloging standards.
>- Knowledge of Dewey Decimal Classification, 
>Library of Congress Classification and Library of Congress Subject Headings.
>- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications.
>- Ability to multitask and prioritize, work 
>independently and as a part of a team, have 
>excellent written and oral communication skills, 
>and work in a fast-paced varied work environment.
>- Outstanding communication skills.

>Desired:
>- Experience creating XSLT stylesheets.
>- Experience with preservation metadata such as PREMIS.
>- Experience with Metadata Encoding and Transmission Standards (METS).
>- Cataloging experience with AACR and MARC 
>tagging, preferably on OCLC. NACO, SACO or BIBCO experience.
>- Experience with an integrated library system, preferably Endeavor Voyager.
>- Work experience in a research library.
>- Experience with scripting or programming languages.

>Salary and Rank: Salary and rank commensurate 
>with credentials and experience. This is a 
>full-time faculty appointment at the rank of 
>Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on
