Hello All, just a quick heads up that USEMARCON version 3.06, a MARC record conversion framework, is now available from the USEMARCON page at the British Library (http://www.bl.uk/services/bibliographic/usemarcon.html). USEMARCON provides a framework for building rules that allow conversion and modification of MARC records. It can be run as a standalone program or embedded into other software. A Windows command line executable is provided in the zip package, but the source is cross-platform and has been successfully built on several architectures. E.g. YAZ Proxy by IndexData (http://www.indexdata.dk/yazproxy/) can be built with USEMARCON support allowing on the fly format conversions. Version 3 adds many new features and fixes. A complete change log is available at <http://www.bl.uk/services/bibliographic/pdf_files/usemarcon_changes.pdf>.
