I am a post-graduate student from Chinese Academy of Science. My
major is library science. Now in order to complete my thesis, I am
involved in a survey about the library job positions, especially for
the newly emerging positions in libraries.
1、Have you had a digital repository in your library? What’s the
name? when did you create it ?
2、And did you create a new position like digital repository
librarian or a new department to take up the work around the digital
repository?
3、If not, who or which department now in your library is responsible
for the maintenance of the digital repository? And have you ever
considered to create a new position?
4、Have you had any position or a department about scholarly
communication ? That is ,a position or a department working around a
digital repository or open access or scholarly publishing or e-
publishing. If not, which department in your library takes the
responsibility of scholarly communication?
