The successful candidate will collaborate with computing and library staff to sustain and expand a vigorous library computing environment offering world class research opportunities for Lehigh students, researchers, faculty and staff as well as scholars connecting to Lehigh digital library projects. Responsibilities: Manage and support systems for direct user access to electronic library materials; support systems for resource sharing; support systems for Lehigh’s diverse and innovative digital library and special collections projects; manage digital library and special collections project resources, accessibility, permissions and authentication; install and test software updates for DL systems; serve as backup for SirsiDynix (integrated library system) server administration and trouble-shooting; participate in system administration of both production and test level servers; provide training, technical assistance, and user and technical documentation for supported applications; provide technical support for library statistical and problem reporting, interlibrary loan and document delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience; three to five years related work experience. Solid computer skills and knowledge in Linux, Unix, and Windows server operating systems; experience in programming, e.g. PHP or Perl; experience using XML, HTML, and CSS.
