Bing's API is very nice. Among many fun services, it includes a JSON "Did You Mean" service: http://www.bing.com/developers We've a large Solr index (8M+ docs) of multi-language MARC records that makes using Solr's internal SpellCheckComponent less than ideal. Solr would assume too many poor spellings were correctly spelled. Bing wins for our use case.
