I dug through unread listserv messages today and noticed this - this is probably old news for others but I found it mildly interesting on a friday afternoon. Does being a helped-by-google collection count as preservation? :)
It's a little hard to tell if they are hosting the site, or helped with the tools, or what.

Anyone heard more about this? I can't seem to find an official announcement from Google itself, but Google has a submission form up for archives to submit applications. I wonder if this is a sign that Google is considering a major "Google Archives/Manuscripts" project, a la Google Books?
