Bill,

These resources from Juan are great (though I believe Final Cut Pro Server
may be end of life), just wanted to chime in that I know you're not alone,
lots of libraries looking for solutions here, too. My institution,
Northwestern University, is hoping to partner with Indiana University and
several others to build a solution, currently code-named "Variations on
Video" https://wiki.dlib.indiana.edu/display/VOV/Variations+on+Video ,
though we won't know about our pending grant proposal until the fall, not
sure how that would work with your timeline. Components of VoV will
utilize Hydra/Blacklight/Fedora and OpenCast Matterhorn.

In the meantime, Northwestern is also doing a test with Kaltura, and there
is interest on our campus also in the ViewCast Media Platform
http://www.viewcast.com/products/viewcast-media-platform , which is the
DAMS University of Michigan uses for BlueStream
http://sitemaker.umich.edu/bluestream/home. ShareStream
http://www.sharestream.com/ is another solution originally developed for
Georgetown. VTLS also recently announced the release of VITAL Media
http://www.thevitalmedia.com/ Not endorsing any of these, of course, just
passing along in the info.

If you're interested in talking with our Variations on Video team, let me
know (that goes for anyone else on this list, too)
