Preservation and Access Issues for Cultural Heritage Institutions

The editor is seeking authors to write on variety of topics:
- Case studies of innovative digitization projects (use of specialized digitization equipment, web 2.0 features, etc.)
- Digitization projects in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, or South America
- Digital preservation
- Digitization of museum collections
- Digital media centers for student / faculty use
- Digitization of special formats (videos, newspapers, maps, etc.)
- Microfilm as a component of a digitization project (e.g., as a preservation format)
We are also seeking reviewers for the following new books:
- Digitally Archiving Cultural Objects (Springer, 2011)
- Engaging Students with Archival and Digital Resources (Chandos, 2011)
- I, Digital: Personal Collections in the Digital Era (Society of American Archivists, 2011)
- Metadata for Digital Collections: A How-to-do-it Manual (Neal-Schuman Publishers, 2011)
- Preparing Collections for Digitization (Facet Publishing, 2011)
The next two deadlines for submitting articles and reviews are October 25 and January 15.
