Ursinus College seeks applicants to work with a team of Information Technology and Library staff to support faculty in a variety of disciplines. The Instructional Technologist will work with faculty at varying levels of expertise to produce multimedia and interactive learning modules and will work as a part of a team to provide support for software and web-based applications used to enhance teaching and learning.

Experience in an academic environment is desired and demonstrated technical expertise in the development of Web sites, computer graphics, digital media projects and interactive applications is required. Knowledge of instructional design is an asset, but the primary need is for a hands-on, technically advanced multimedia and digital media developer. The ability to work well with others to understand their needs in applying technology to teaching and learning objectives and then to follow through with the development of instructional technology applications is essential. Individuals with backgrounds in information technology or librarianship or teaching and academic scholarship are all encouraged to apply. Salary is negotiable and dependent upon demonstrated expertise and experience.

Please respond with a letter of application and your resume to Dr. John King, Chief Information Officer at: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Applications will only be accepted via email. Ursinus is an EOE/AA employer. In keeping with the college's historic commitment to equality, women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply. Review of applications will begin March 4, 2013 and continue until an appropriate candidate is identified.
