Ontario-area code4libbers might be interested in the Google Developer Group DevFest Can-Am one-day event being held at the Google Waterloo headquarters on Sept 28th: https://www.atendy.com/event/gdg-waterloo-devfest-80954845 I'll be giving a lightning talk on the basics of using schema.org to add structured data to the Web, but the meat of the event will have talks on the Google Cloud platform, Glass, AngularJS, and Android development (amongst other topics). Great food will be served, and it should be a good opportunity to add potential tools to your bag of tricks as well as for networking purposes.
