Ah ha! The MODS_RDFizer’s mods2rdf.xslt file functioned very well against one of my MODS files:

  $ xsltproc mods2rdf.xslt pamphlets.mods > pamphlets.rdf

Mods2rdf.xslt could very easily be configured at the beginning of the file to suit the needs of a local “cultural heritage institution”. I like the use of XSL to create a serialized RDF as opposed to the use of an application because less infrastructure is needed to make things happen.
