Weave: the Journal of Library User Experience seeks a copy editor to join our editorial staff. The copy editor is responsible for the final line edits to all journal content for correct spelling, syntax, usage, and compliance with Chicago Manual of Style before each issue is sent to Michigan Publishing for production. Annual time commitment is 15-20 hours of editing as well as virtual attendance at 2-3 editorial meetings. This is a remote position which, like all editorial staff at Weave, is volunteer. The right candidate will have demonstrated copy editing experience as well as a knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style. Familiarity with library and usability terminology strongly preferred.
