New and prospective Fedora users will find many opportunities to learn more about the repository software from their peers within the open source community. This year’s Fedora Interest Group track will showcase presentations, demonstrations, discussions, and project updates. Some of the central themes include: Fedora 4 implementations and migrations Evaluating Fedora 4 Leveraging linked open data Using Fedora to support research data Integrating Fedora into broader ecosystems Updates from the Hydra and Islandora communities With the launch of the Fedora 4 production release [3] in December, 2014, this year will be an exciting one for the Fedora community. Fedora 4 features include vast improvements in scalability, linked data capabilities, research data support, modularity, ease of use and more. If you are adopting, evaluating, or migrating to Fedora 4 we want to hear from you! Likewise, if you are not yet considering Fedora for your project, please tell us about missing features or obstacles that are leading you in other directions. Learn more about the project by reading the wiki [4] and join the Fedora Interest Group at Open Repositories to discuss Fedora 4 with the project developers and stakeholders.
