Brown University Library seeks energetic, experienced, and creative applicants for the position of Library Systems Analyst.


The Library Systems Analyst recommends or creates automated solutions for manual tasks, improving the efficacy and efficiency workflows in the libraryís Access Services functional areas (cataloging/metadata, acquisitions and e-resources, circulation, resource sharing, preservation, shelving, and off-site storage). Improves upon existing automated routines where possible. Develops training modules and documentation for staff in use of tools. Explores new system needs and identifies criteria for evaluating same; provides technical support and solutions for e-resource management and access issues; and participates actively in professional organizations. 



Qualifications

Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check.
