The Indianapolis Public Library is currently seeking a full-time Electronic Resources Librarian to work in our Collection Management department. This role coordinates all aspects of the Library’s electronic resources including acquisition, licensing, access, discovery, support and maintenance. Candidate will be responsible for exploration and recommendation of emerging electronic services and will assess and evaluate specifications, efficacy, and cost efficiency of e-resources. In addition, incumbent will partner with library staff for implementation, training, technical support, troubleshooting and responding to end-user’s issues with e-resources. Candidate will also lead library-wide efforts to promote the usage of databases and digital collections. Finally, candidate will work with staff for the electronic resources presence on the library website and social media outlets and maintain accurate electronic resources data.
