I think Stack Overflow Careers is good, but expensive. I've had HR contacts blanch at it, and suggest Dice instead, because that's what they have experience with. But I don't think I've ever had a successful candidate from Dice, and it's not cheap either, IIRC. My suggestion is Craigslist! A quick poll of recent hires in my department says they heard about the jobs from Craigslist, LinkedIn, and having a former colleague already working here who sent them the job bulletin.
