Digital Scholarship Librarian (College of William and Mary, Earl Gregg Swem
Library, Virginia)

The College of William and Mary is recruiting for the position of Digital
Scholarship Librarian. William & Mary is the second oldest college in the
nation, a public institution offering a world-class education, and regularly
ranked among the top tier institutions. The College,
adjacent to historic Colonial Williamsburg, is approximately 150 miles south
of Washington, D.C. and located midway between Richmond and Norfolk offering
the ideal setting for a modern, collegiate atmosphere. The Digital Scholarship
Librarian leads the planning, coordination, analysis and implementation of new
service models that focus on the provision of scholarly communication services
for the College of William & Mary community. This position provides expertise
and leadership on the library's goals, objectives, and projects for educating
the campus community about digital publishing, intellectual property rights,
open access and open scholarship initiatives, and connections between
information literacy and scholarly communication. Reporting to the Associate
Dean for Collections and Content Services, the Digital Scholarship Librarian
provides direction for WM Publish, our institutional repository for active
scholarship, and engages with scholars on issues related to preservation and
