Greetings.
I am looking to fill out a panel on collaborative projects at GLAMs with
presenters from a variety of positions, roles and institutions. Case
studies that cover anything from how you find partners for projects, how
you fund collaborative efforts, to how you distribute work and how you
document the projects for archives or as reference for future projects,
would enhance the current set of speakers. Please contact me if you or
someone at your institution might be interested in presenting about a large
collaborative project. The details for the conference and session abstract
are below. Please respond off list.

Thanks,
Ryan Brubacher

VRA Annual Conference (conference theme "Unbridled Opportunties")
March 28-April 1st, 2016 - Louisville, KY

Panel Session: Cross-Campus Collaboration Case Studies
Abstract: We all collaborate in various small ways in our day to day work,
but large scale collaborations across campus are a different story. Finding
opportunities for collaboration, learning about collaborative efforts where
our expertise would be helpful, facilitating conversations across different
departments, funding large projects, working with a variety of
personalities, assessing and learning from collaborative projects and
communicating the results of collaborations all can get difficult and time
consuming. The case-studies in this session will highlight different types
of collaborative projects and illustrate problems, solutions, techniques,
results, and rewards of taking on cross-campus collaborative projects, with
the aim of inspiring us all to take the time and effort to tap into
unbridled opportunities.
