The Library Publishing Coalition is pleased to announce that the fourth
annual Library Publishing Forum will take place March 20 - 22, 2017 at the
Royal Sonesta Hotel in Baltimore, MD. The date and location were chosen to
align with ACRL 2017 <http://conference.acrl.org/>, which takes place March
22 - 25 in Baltimore.

Further details are forthcoming and a call for proposals will be issued
this fall.

*About the Conference*
The Library Publishing Forum brings together representatives from libraries
engaged in (or considering) publishing initiatives to define and address
major questions and challenges; to identify and document collaborative
opportunities; to strengthen and promote this community of practice; and to
advance this vibrant subfield of academic publishing.

We welcome participants from a broad, international spectrum of academic
libraries, as well as groups that collaborate with libraries to publish
scholarly works including the digital humanities. You do not need to be a
member of the LPC to attend. A program and slides from last year's Forum
are available at http://www.librarypublishing.org/events/lpforum16. Video
recordings of selected sessions are forthcoming.

The Library Publishing Forum is organized by the LPC’s Program Committee:

Jeff Rubin, Tulane University (2016-17 chair)
William Kane, Wake Forest University
David Scherer, Carnegie Mellon University
Scott Walter, DePaul University
Aaron McCollough, UIUC
Matt Ruen, Grand Valley State University
Rebecca Welzenbach, University of Michigan
