Tom - as for your inquiry about the 2016 link, which I believe is related to the specific page of http://2017.code4lib.org/about/propose-a-workshop.html, the 2016 link was provided there as an example for inspiration for this year. You will be registering for preconference sessions during general conference registration and a link to the preconference sessions will be included as a part of the registration process.
