I've crafted my first ever public survey! I'm gathering anecdata about the software-based work library staff do outside the ILS and how it overlaps with work they do inside the ILS. I've talked to colleagues in person and I'm hoping to cast a wider net to see whether or not others are interacting with their ILSes in a similar fashion. The results of the survey will inform a discussion I am participating in at ER&L - "Let’s think – and work – outside the box.
