Our library has a DVD browsing web page. Right now, it gets cover art and other metadata from TMDB.org (since IMDB has too restrictive of licensing), which requires a staff person to go manually to TMDB.org, find the DVD, and copy its ID number into a local record. Does anyone know of a more automated solution for linking DVDs with images and other metadata? Since most DVDs don't have an ISBN, the usual tools like Syndetics are useless. One useful feature of tmdb.org is that it allows looking up movies by IMDB ID numbers. Does anyone perhaps know of a cataloging service that provides DVD records and is able to include IMDB numbers?
