RDAP18 Call for Proposals

The Research Data Access and Preservation (RDAP) Summit, to be held March 21-23, 2018 in Chicago, IL, invites calls for proposals from managers, users, and generators of digital data from all sectors, including industry, academia, government, and cultural heritage centers, to present within the sessions described below.

Session topics are as follows:

I. Defining the role of the library in research data management within an institution

II. FAIR vs. Friction

III. Intersection of Publishing and Data

IV. Underserved Data Communities: Understanding Access & Preservation Bias

V. Research reproducibility - how data librarians are getting involved

VI. Open Call for Proposals

There will also be a poster session and separate oral session (TBD).
