Hi everyone -

Happy (?!) Endangered Data Week <http://endangereddataweek.org/>!

There are a lot of great events planned for this second annual EDW. Folks
in Baltimore, Boston, Charlottesville, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, New
Haven, New York City, Omaha, and Victoria (among other locations) will
convene more than 45 events - panel discussions, hackathons, skills labs,
webinars, and brown-bag lunches. (The full list of affiliated events, most
of which are open to the public, is viewable here
<http://endangereddataweek.org/map/?sorts%5Bdate%5D=1>.)

If you're a Twitter user, we encourage you to follow the hashtag
#EndangeredData all week - and to join the DLF's Government Records
Transparency & Accountability interest group for an open Endangered Data
Week *Twitter chat on* *Tuesday, Feb 27. 6pm Pacific / 7pm Mountain / 8pm
Central / 9pm Eastern. *(Details here
<https://wiki.diglib.org/Transparency-Accountability#DLF_Government_Records_Transparency_and_Accountability_Group>
.)

And keep an eye out for a series of blog posts summarizing the week's
events - and the broad range of issues considered therein - in March. We'll
send details about where to read those writings soon.
