I am going to tentatively schedule our kick-off for the Cloud Content Sub-Group for next Friday, March 23^rd at 2:00pm ET.

 

We’ll be joined by Sally Vermateen from the Infrastructure Group. She is interested in joining our conversations and was interested in sharing the Preservation Storage Criteria, Version 2 document. We’ll touch on this as a potential helpful resource during our call.

As a follow-up to our discussions around spinning up a sub-group to explore cloud content case studies, I am including here a Doodle scheduler here to get our first monthly call on the books:

If folks could try to fill that out by this Thursday (03/15), I will get us scheduled on Friday. The scheduler is open to anyone on our CIG, so if you didn’t get a chance to express interest for participating on the sub-group or just needed some time to think about it, feel free to throw your name/dates/times into the scheduler. Because Lauren Work, Dave Pcolar, Albert Rozo, and Paige Walker piped up on the call I will do my best to look for quorum across their availability in getting this first call scheduled.

 

Also, Lauren and I will be talking with Sally Vermateen from the NDSA Infrastructure Group this Friday. They are interested in collaborating with us on these explorations into cloud issues. We’ll bring notes from that conversation back to the sub-group and the larger CIG.
