Hi Edwin,

For Evergreen ILS, Spanish translation was completed for the public
facing catalog. The Evergreen project is undergoing a major
transition right now to a new browser based web client that's slated
to fully replace the previous XUL-based staff client installation.
The translation for the new web client is still ongoing and there's
various groups assisting with that work.

You can view all the existing progress here for Evergreen's master
version (future release):
https://translations.launchpad.net/evergreen/master/+lang/es

We've had contributions to the Spanish translation from multiple
consortia in the US, a site in Mexico, and some vendors too.

At least two Evergreen consortia have implemented a version of the
Spanish catalog translation that's visible on their public catalog.

I volunteer as part of Evergreen's i18n team, so I'd be happy to
answer any further questions. I can also direct to other Evergreen
community members who might have more specific implementation
experiences.
