Just as you need to watch out for seagull managers, you also have to be
wary of seagull systems people. A lot of the most important work is hidden
deep beneath the surface.

It's not all bad.  Seagulls can help you identify interesting things --
both on and off the water, they can be seen far away circling above and
dive bombing those doing real work in hopes of sharing the spoils. Plus,
the racket they make can be fun to listen to.
