Just a quick reminder to the DLF community that early-bird registration ENDS ON WEDNESDAY for the 2019 Code4Lib conference, to be held in San Jose next month — featuring keynotes by Safiya Noble and Tara Robertson, a great program of workshops, and a reception at the Tech Museum of Innovation. 

CLIR and DLF are proud to serve as the fiscal host for the Code4Lib community, including its annual conference. (We host the C4L listserv too, where you can keep up on Code4Lib events and conversations.)

The lower $395 registration price for Code4Lib 2019 in San José, CA will end next Wednesday, January 23rd, after which time the price goes up to $450. Save yourself some money and register today!! The conference runs from February 19th (preconference workshops) to the 22nd.

Tons of great content! We have twenty-two workshops to choose from this year, handlings topics from accessibility to digital preservation to linked data, all conveniently located at the conference hotel. Conference talks vary from discussions of ethics, machine learning, the GDPR, open access indexes, and more!

Great community events! From the Newcomer's Dinner where new attendees meet grizzled veterans, to Game Night, to a reception at The Tech Museum of Innovation, Code4Lib has a lot going on outside the main conference. We strive to be as fun and welcoming of a conference as possible, with a community-authored Code of Conduct.
