Registration ends soon for the online class, Regular Expressions, from Amigos Library Services. Regular Expressions<https://www.amigos.org/node/4546>, April 30 - May 2, 10:00 - 12:00 pm CDT. This course is an introduction to managing and editing data by learning the syntax and construction of a regular expression, which is a sequence of characters that define a search (and sometimes replace) pattern. The basic characters used to construct a pattern will be discussed and then the patterns will be used in hands-on examples. Regular expressions are used in integrated library system search/replace reports, some text editors (like Notepad++), and MarcEdit.
