The guide is geared toward research institution employees involved in promoting ORCID and provides advice for:
* Gaining key internal stakeholder support for ORCID
* Designating outreach leaders
* Crafting messaging that will resonate with researchers
* Using different strategies to get the best ORCID adoption results for your context
After the session, participants should be able to:
* Understand how researchers can get the most benefit from using ORCID
* Identify strategies that can be used to encourage researchers to register for and use their ORCID iD
* Conceptualize a plan for local promotion of ORCID, with knowledge of where to go to find more information
