Dear Colleagues,

The Scaling Software Preservation and Emulation-as-a-Service-Infrastructure
(EaaSI) <http://www.softwarepreservationnetwork.org/eaasi/> program of work
invites you to register for our *2019 EaaSI Webinar Series**.* Each month
from July 2019 - October 2019, we are hosting a free, one-hour webinar on a
core component of the EaaSI program of work: system design, institutional
policy & underlying legal framework, metadata modeling, and configuration
workflows.

These webinars start with a conceptual overview and an introduction to work
completed for EaaSI. We then transition to a facilitated discussion between
the EaaSI Staff Liasion and Node Host Leads from EaaSI Node Host
organizations. We’ll leave time towards the end of the hour for open
question & answer with webinar attendees.

Coming up in JULY: Klaus Rechert (EaaSI Emulation Architect) will
facilitate our first episode in the EaaSI webinar series titled “EaaSI
System Design: Core Concepts and Functionality.” Together with Node Leads
and System Administrators from the University of Virginia Libraries and
Notre Dame Hesburgh Libraries, Klaus will help to answer questions such as:

   -

How is EaaSI different from EaaS?
   -

What problem is EaaSI trying to solve?
   -

Which EaaSI features are Node Hosts most interested in and why?
   -

Reflections on EaaSI deployment, installation, and testing

These webinars are free and open to all.
