Talk with #DLFteach
<https://www.diglib.org/groups/digital-library-pedagogy/> about
"Collaboration, Scheduling, and Promotion for Digital Pedagogy Workshops"
at our first Twitter chat of 2020!

For this next #DLFteach Twitter chat, we'll be discussing digital pedagogy
workshops from the perspective of how we go about collaborating on,
scheduling, and promoting them. We are referring to standalone sessions,
special programs, or series of workshops that are distinct from traditional
information literacy instruction requested by faculty for their courses.
How do you go about the logistics for these workshops and programs?

This chat will be co-hosted by Martha Stuit (@newerwilderness) and Nick
Homenda (@NickHomenda).

The chat will be at 2:00 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Discussion questions will be:

   - Q1: What methods do you find effective for preparing to teach digital
   pedagogy workshops?
   - Q2: How do you collaborate on planning workshops and special programs?
Do you meet with co-instructors, work asynchronously, or take other
   approaches?
   - Q3: How do you decide when to schedule workshops and special programs?
What has worked well, and what have you found problematic?
   - Q4: What means do you use to promote workshops and special programs?
What marketing messages have worked well?
   - Q5: How do you determine success after teaching a workshop or offering
   a special program?

Not available next Tuesday? You can read the conversation afterwards! We’ll
create archived versions of the chat and share them in the days following
the chat. To browse past Twitter chats, check them out on our wiki
