DLF Program Report Forthcoming;
Join Us for Webinar May 20
The results of a yearlong program review of the Digital Library Federation will be made public mid-May. Commissioned last year
after the departure of former DLF director Bethany Nowviskie, the review was undertaken to guide planning for DLF, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
Joanne Kossuth, founding director of 1MountainRoad consultancy, conducted the review throughout 2019, drawing on interviews with
CLIR and DLF staff, representatives of member institutions, DLF advisory committee and working group members, and Forum participants. Her findings focus on three areas: community perception of the DLF program; how and where increased collaboration among DLF
and other CLIR programs is desirable; and how the program can evolve to best meet current and future needs.
The forthcoming report will be made available by mid-May and announced through our listservs and social media. We invite you to
join us for a webinar on Wednesday, May 20, at 3 pm ET, in which Kossuth will present her findings and answer questions.

2020 Comm/Cap Award Nominations Now Open
|
We are now accepting nominations for our
2020 Community/Capacity Award (Comm/Cap Award for short), which honors constructive, community-minded capacity-building in digital libraries
and allied fields: efforts that contribute to our ability to collaborate across institutional lines and/or work toward something larger, together. The Comm/Cap Award is a debt of gratitude from the
DLF membership, selected biennially by vote.
