As the world moves online, issues of privacy and the limits of free speech have come to the fore. But what does that mean on campus? Listen to students, staff, and faculty discuss new definitions and challenges to privacy and free speech in this changing environment. *Moderator*Matthew Garklavs-Electronic Resources Librarian, Pratt Institute Libraries*Panelists**Sarah Lamdan-Professor of Law, CUNY School of Law* Sarah Lamdan is a Professor of Law at CUNY School of Law in Long Island City, NY and a librarian. Professor Lamdan studies data governance law across the spectrum from open government to personal privacy. She is currently working on a book about data control and access called Data Cartels, which will be published by Stanford University Press. Sarah Lamdan has worked as both an academic and law firm librarian since joining the profession in 2003. *Monica Maceli- Associate Professor, Pratt Institute School of Information* Monica Maceli is Associate Professor at Pratt Institute School of Information, focusing on emerging technologies in the information and library science domain. She earned her Ph.D. and MSIS from the College of Information Science and Technology (iSchool) at Drexel University. She has an industry background in web development and user experience, having held positions in e-commerce, online learning, and academic libraries. Her research areas of interest include end-user development, human-computer interaction, and information technology education. Dr. Maceli is co-director of the Environmental Sensing Lab at the Pratt Research Accelerator which explores the applications of micro-controllers, single-board computers, sensors, and other physical computing devices in monitoring environmental conditions within cultural heritage organizations. *Sydni Meyer- Graduate Student, Pratt Institute School of Information* Sydni Meyer is a graduate student at Pratt Institute’s School of Information, concentrating on academic librarianship. Her research interests include digital humanities and equity in scholarly communications, informed by her B.A. in Religion from Bryn Mawr College and M.A. in South Asian Studies from Columbia University. Versions of her master’s thesis “Embodied Transcendence: Tantric Practice in Web 2.0” were presented at the Annual Conference on South Asia at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and the MESAAS Graduate Conference at Columbia University.
