Reminder to join us tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. EDT for the monthly Content Interest Group Meeting.
Discussion focus: What preservation tasks are we prioritizing, and what impact does that have on future access and use?
Please join the NDSA Content Interest Group on Wednesday, April 7th, 1:00 p.m. EST for “Content Exchange,” one of our new meeting modes in which members drive the discussion on a topic of interest.
Building on our March 3rd discussion, we host a focused conversation on our ability to move from basic bit-level preservation to more future-and-access-oriented content preservation functions. We will explore factors such as: our staffing, expertise,
tools, and organizational structures. Please come prepared to share information about your own experience and to give, receive or solicit feedback from colleagues on the call! Ann Hanlon, Head of Digital Collections and Initiatives and DH Lab at the University
of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Libraries, will facilitate the discussion.
