DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe University Library System is seeking candidates for the
position of Electronic Resources Librarian\, a faculty librarian position
in the ULS Technical Services unit. This position reports to the Head of Li
brary Resource Acquisitions.\n\nGeneral Responsibilities:\n\nThe incumbent
is responsible for managing the life cycle of electronic resources\, includ
ing databases\, e-books\, streaming video\, serials\, and the like. The inc
umbent is also responsible for managing serials\, including ordering\, rece
iving and maintaining serials in electronic formats\; for training\, superv
ising and evaluating 3 full time staff positions\; for developing and overs
eeing assessment strategies and conducting ongoing assessment\; and collabo
rating on collection development initiatives.\n\nSpecifically\, the incumbe
