The University Library System is seeking candidates for the position of
Electronic Resources Librarian, a faculty librarian position in the ULS
Technical Services unit. This position reports to the Head of Library
Resource Acquisitions.
General Responsibilities:
The incumbent is responsible for managing the life cycle of electronic
resources, including databases, e-books, streaming video, serials, and the
like. The incumbent is also responsible for managing serials, including
ordering, receiving and maintaining serials in electronic formats; for
training, supervising and evaluating 3 full time staff positions; for
developing and overseeing assessment strategies and conducting ongoing
assessment; and collaborating on collection development initiatives.
