Texas A&M University Libraries seeks a creative and dynamic professional to join the Texas A&M University Libraries as a User Experience and Digital Projects Librarian. We are hiring one individual for a full-time position with an 11-month academic appointment. This is a tenure-track/tenured position with research and service expectations. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor depending on qualifications. Reporting to the Dean through the Associate Dean for User Services and the Service Design Librarian, the User Experience and Digital Projects Librarian partners with University Libraries’ collaborators to move an idea through project management workflows for web and digital projects. They will gather product requirements for web and digital library projects, participate in content strategy and strategic planning for the Libraries’ web ecosystem, and facilitate the Digital Project Management Team. As a part of the web team, they will create and design web experiences and develop content for the Libraries’ websites. This person will design and conduct user testing and assessment activities for the online user experience. Tenure-track responsibilities include engaging in research activities leading to publications and national service to meet both the Libraries’ and the University’s requirements for tenure and promotion.
