The Digital and Data Science Specialist performs advanced technical and creative work essential to college data science curriculum, library digital services, and library systems. The Specialist configures and administers data science servers and applications and helps create and maintain documentation for end users. The Specialist works to support Data Science curriculum by developing workshops and assisting faculty members with technical aspects of assignments and labs. The Specialist also helps support general library systems and digital initiatives projects, ranging from web development to configuration and customization of content management software like Omeka and Wordpress. The Specialist participates in library committees and related activities as needed.
