Our next virtual DLF Museums Cohort call takes place on
Wednesday, October 27, at 2 pm ET/11 am PT.
Join the DLF Museums Cohort in October for a lightly moderated discussion about the DLF
Digital Accessibility Working Group's webinar,
"Inclusive Design and Accessible Exhibits: Some Guidance for Libraries, Galleries, and Museums," presented by
Sina Barham, accessibility consultant, computer scientist, researcher, speaker, and entrepreneur. This webinar reviews principles of universal
and inclusive design through the lens of GLAM exhibits, interactives, and performances. The webinar is available to view on
CLIR/DLF's YouTube channel (slides and transcript available
here).
Attendees are encouraged to watch the webinar or review the transcript ahead of Wednesday's call. We'll discuss topics covered in the webinar, as well
as what kind of inclusive design we are (or aren't) implementing in our own institutions.
